Meet Terri Washington

Terri Washington is a corporate training professional with expertise in facilitation, instructional design, and continuous improvement in technical and non-technical organizations including government, manufacturing, health care, and contact center services.  

Currently, Terri facilitates virtual onboarding and development training for new hires and existing employees. She develops training products using training software such as Articulate, Captivate, and Adobe Suite.   She facilitates continuous improvement, and updates course material to ensure streamlined, functional, and accurate course content. Using the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model, she measures training effectiveness to gauge learner experience, acquired skill/knowledge, behavior modification, and improved performance.  

Terri's prior experience includes serving as a Training Specialist for Hargrove EPC at BASF Manufacturing and for Gap Solutions, Inc. at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC).  

At BASF Manufacturing, Terri led continuous improvement initiatives for the technical curriculum and course offerings for multiple programs and projects. She led the end-to-end certification program for the site-wide electrical and maintenance technicians.

At NASA JSC, she served as the co-lead of the Career Path Development training initiative as well as the discipline expert for the Organizational Development, Quality, and Personal/Professional Effectiveness training curriculum.  She also served as manager of the JSC Academic Fellowship Program and JSC Safety Learning Center.  As a NASA Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Terri served as a member of the JSC Lean Six Sigma Implementation and Facilitation Team (LIFT).

Terri has a true passion for quality improvement in processes as well as individual development.  This passion contributes to her commitment to training and developing employees to reach their professional goals. 

Terri holds a Master's in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.  She is happily married with one son and two dogs.  She is a certified yoga instructor and holistic wellness enthusiast with a favorite hobby of teaching yoga in the park and singing karaoke.
